Maintenance Records

Log PMIs, services, repairs, MOTs, and tyre replacements. Track parts used, workshop details, and schedule the next service.

Parts Used

Log individual parts used during the maintenance. Each part entry captures name, part number, quantity, unit cost, and supplier. Parts are optional but useful for building a full cost breakdown.

Always set Next Due Date
Setting the Next Due Date creates a forward-looking scheduled maintenance entry. It shows up in the Fleet hub badge and helps you plan ahead rather than react to failures.
PMI frequency for commercial vehicles
DVSA guidance recommends 6-week PMI intervals for heavy goods vehicles. Use the Maintenance module to track these and ensure you are never overdue.
Common Mistakes
Not recording the Completed Date — a record without it stays in Scheduled status.
Leaving the Title blank — it is required and the form will not save without it.
Not linking the record to a vehicle — unlinked records do not appear in vehicle maintenance history.
