Weighbridge Tickets

Record weighbridge data for incoming and outgoing loads. Capture gross, tare, and net weights, link to vehicles and waste loads, and generate printable tickets.

What is a Weighbridge Ticket?

A weighbridge ticket is an official record of a vehicle weight measurement taken at a weighbridge. It records the gross (loaded) weight, the tare (empty) weight, and the calculated net (payload) weight. Weighbridge tickets are used to verify loads comply with vehicle weight limits, support waste transfer documentation, and provide evidence for regulatory audits.

Ticket Details

Enter the core details for the weighbridge transaction. The ticket reference number is assigned automatically but can be overridden with a value from the weighbridge operator.

Weight Measurements

Enter the gross and tare weights. The net weight (payload) is calculated automatically as Gross minus Tare. All weights are recorded in kilograms.

Waste Load

Link the weighbridge ticket to a waste note or waste load to automatically populate the tonnage on the waste transfer record.

Link tickets to waste notes
When you link a weighbridge ticket to a waste transfer note, the net weight automatically populates the tonnage field on the note. This eliminates manual data re-entry and keeps your paperwork consistent.
Check against vehicle plated weight
The gross weight recorded must not exceed the vehicle's plated weight. If the gross weight approaches or exceeds the vehicle's GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) the load may be illegal and the vehicle should not depart.
Common Mistakes
Recording weights in tonnes instead of kilograms — the form expects values in kg.
Not linking the ticket to a vehicle, which means the record cannot be used for compliance evidence.
Entering the same value for both gross and tare — the net weight must be greater than zero for a valid ticket.
