Health & Safety Overview
Report near misses, record accidents with RIDDOR checks, and create Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for your operations.
What is the Health & Safety Module?
The Health & Safety module provides three key tools for managing workplace safety: Near Miss reporting, Accident reporting with automatic RIDDOR checks, and RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) creation. Together these help you meet your legal obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, RIDDOR 2013, and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
Near Miss Reports
A near miss is an unplanned event that did not result in injury or damage but had the potential to do so. Reporting near misses is critical for identifying hazards before they cause harm. Reports can be submitted anonymously. Each report captures a hazard category, description, severity potential, photos, and GPS location.
Accident Reports
Accident reports record details of workplace injuries. The form is a guided six-step wizard: Injured Person details, Incident Details, Injuries (using an interactive body mapper), Treatment records, RIDDOR Check, and Review. Accident records cannot be deleted once saved — this is by design for legal compliance.
RIDDOR
RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013) requires employers to report certain types of workplace injuries to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The system automatically checks whether an accident is RIDDOR-reportable based on the injuries recorded, and provides a workflow to mark the report as submitted.
RAMS
A RAMS document combines a Risk Assessment (identifying hazards and control measures) with a Method Statement (describing how work will be done safely). RAMS are required before undertaking higher-risk activities. The wizard guides you through project details, hazard identification from a built-in library, method statement, sign-off signatures, and PDF download.
