Centralise your environmental permits, waste carrier licences, and expiry tracking in one place.
The Permits module gives you a single register for all environmental authorisations held by your business: waste carrier licences, environmental permits, exemption registrations, site licences, waste transfer note authorisations, and anything else. It automatically tracks expiry dates and alerts you when renewals are due.
One permit can be pinned as primary. The primary waste carrier licence is displayed prominently at the top of the Permits page via the Waste Carrier Card, and its reference number is auto-populated into the Section B and C fields of new waste transfer notes. If you added a carrier registration during onboarding it will appear here automatically.
Below the primary card, all other permits are listed with their reference number, type, associated site, and expiry status. Use the search box to filter by reference or type, and the status tabs — All, Active, Expiring, Expired — to focus on permits needing attention.
Each permit card shows a coloured badge: Active (green, more than 30 days until expiry), Expiring (amber, 30 days or fewer), or Expired (red, past expiry date). Permits expiring within 7 days show an animated red dot for immediate attention.
