Reports Overview
Generate waste summaries and annual returns for EA compliance and audit.
What the Reports module does
The Reports module gives you two complementary views of your completed waste transfer notes: a flexible Waste Summary you can group and filter any way you like, and an Annual Return formatted for Environment Agency reporting. Both reports can be exported as CSV or PDF.
Available report types
Waste Summary — group completed notes by EWC Code, Client, Site, or Month to see note counts and total quantities. Annual Return — a pre-formatted breakdown over a rolling 12-month window covering total notes, quantity by EWC code, notes by client, and notes by site.
Date range controls
Every report has From and To date pickers. The Waste Summary defaults to the last 30 days; the Annual Return defaults to rolling 12 months. Change either date and click Refresh to reload the data instantly.
Exporting data
The Download CSV button on each report generates a file named with the report type, group-by dimension, and date range — for example waste-summary-ewc_code-2025-03-01-to-2026-03-15.csv. Annual Return also offers a Download PDF button for submission-ready documents.
