Switch between dark and light mode to suit your working environment.

Dark and light mode

QWTN defaults to dark mode. The Appearance card in the Personal section of Settings lets you switch to light mode with a single button. The button label and icon adapt: when you are in dark mode it reads "Switch to light mode" with a sun icon; in light mode it reads "Switch to dark mode" with a moon icon.

How theme preference is stored

Your theme preference is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key qwtn_theme. This means the setting persists across page reloads and browser sessions on the same device. If you clear your browser data the setting resets to dark mode.

Theme scope

The theme toggle affects the entire QWTN application including the admin dashboard and driver app. It does not affect the public-facing Client Portal, which has its own fixed styling.

Theme is per-device, not per-account
Because the preference is stored in localStorage, it is tied to the browser on a specific device. If you log in on a different device or browser you will need to set your preferred theme again.
Light mode is recommended for printing
If you need to print any QWTN screens or take screenshots for reports, switch to light mode first for cleaner, ink-friendly output.
