Signature Pad

Draw and save your hand-written signature for use on waste transfer notes.

What the signature is used for

Your saved signature is used as the transferor (Section B) signature when you sign a waste transfer note. It appears on the printed note PDF and is stored alongside the note record. A clear, accurate signature helps ensure your notes are compliant.

Drawing your signature

The Your Signature card contains a canvas-based signature pad. Use your mouse on desktop or your finger/stylus on a touchscreen device to draw your signature. The pad provides a realistic ink-style feel. You can clear and redraw as many times as needed before saving.

Saving your signature

Click Save changes in the topbar to save your drawn signature. It is stored as a base64-encoded image in your profile. Existing notes are not retroactively updated — the new signature is used only on notes signed after the save.

Clearing your signature

The signature pad has a Clear button that wipes the canvas so you can redraw. Clearing and then saving will remove any previously saved signature from your profile.

Use a stylus on tablet for the best result
Drawing your signature on a tablet with a stylus produces the most realistic result. On desktop, using a graphics tablet or signing slowly with the mouse produces a cleaner output than rushing.
Drivers can also set their signature
Each driver in your team has their own Settings page where they can draw their individual signature. Their signature is captured separately from yours and used when they sign notes via the Driver App.
