Default Signature
Set a saved signature on your driver profile so it auto-fills when you sign waste transfer notes.
What is a default signature?
Drivers can save a default signature on their profile page. Once saved, the signature is automatically applied to waste transfer notes when the driver starts a collection — removing the need to re-draw your signature on every job.
Setting your signature
Open the Driver App and navigate to Profile (the person icon in the bottom navigation). Below your name and team details you will see the Default Signature card. Use the signature pad to draw or type your signature, then tap Save Signature. You can replace or remove your signature at any time.
Draw or type
The signature pad has two tabs: Draw lets you sign freehand using your finger or a stylus, and Type lets you enter your name and choose from three handwriting-style fonts. Both produce a signature image that is saved to your profile.
How auto-sign works
When you tap Start Collection on a job and a waste transfer note is created, QWTN checks whether you have a saved signature. If you do, it is automatically applied as the driver (transferee) signature on the note. The WTN Signatures panel will show "Driver signature present" instead of asking you to sign again.
Signing without a saved signature
If you have not set a default signature, the sign flow works exactly as before — tap Sign as Driver to open the full-screen signature modal and draw your signature manually. You can still set a default signature later from your profile to speed up future jobs.
Replacing your signature
To change your saved signature, go to Profile, tap Replace on the existing signature preview, draw or type a new one, and tap Save Signature. The new signature will be used on all future notes — existing notes are not changed.
Removing your signature
Tap Remove to clear the signature, then tap Save Signature. This deletes your saved signature from your profile. You will be asked to sign manually on future jobs.
