Client Analytics

Understand waste transfer history, total weights, destinations, and EWC codes for any client at a glance.

Summary stat cards

At the top of the Client Detail page, four stat cards summarise the client's transfer activity. These are calculated automatically from all notes where the client appears as a transferor or transferee.

Waste Destinations chart

A horizontal bar chart shows the top 8 consignee (destination) names by number of transfers. The widest bar represents the most frequently used destination. This helps identify where waste is going most often and supports due diligence on consignee permits.

Waste Types (EWC Codes) chart

A second horizontal bar chart shows the top 8 EWC codes by transfer count for this client. Each bar is labelled with the 6-digit EWC code in monospace font. This gives a quick view of the mix of waste types the client is associated with.

Notes list

Below the charts, a searchable and paginated list shows all waste transfer notes linked to this client. Search by note reference or waste description. Notes are linked directly — clicking opens the full note detail page.

Use analytics for annual return preparation
The weight totals and EWC breakdown per client make it easy to pull together the data you need for the EA annual return. Filter by client to get per-producer waste totals.
Analytics are derived from note data
The stats and charts are calculated live from the waste transfer notes in your account. They do not include any transfers recorded outside of QWTN.
Completed vs total transfers
The Completed count only includes notes where both the transferor and transferee have signed. If a note is still awaiting a signature it counts in Total Transfers but not in Completed. Chase outstanding signatures to keep your completion rate high.
Common Mistakes
Assuming total weight is accurate without checking note weight fields — weight is only included in the total if it was entered on the note. Notes with no quantity recorded will not contribute to the weight stat.
Expecting the EWC breakdown to match EA reporting categories exactly — the chart groups by raw EWC code as entered on the note; you may need to aggregate sub-codes manually for formal reporting.
