Paper vs Digital

See why businesses are switching from paper templates to digital waste transfer notes.

Paper Template

  • Store for 2 years manually — filing cabinets, shoeboxes, glovebox
  • No way to verify the carrier is EA-registered
  • No built-in EWC code lookup — hope you remember the right code
  • Easy to lose, damage, or misfile
  • Will not meet the October 2026 digital mandate

QWTN Digital

  • Automatic 2-year cloud storage — find any note in seconds
  • Built-in EA carrier register verification
  • EWC code search with plain-English descriptions
  • E-signatures on any device — both parties sign digitally
  • DEFRA 2026 digital waste tracking ready
